So normally Hannuka is thought of as the Festival of lights.
We love it so much that the Jerusalem Municipality has made a 'Hannuka in June'.
The Lights in Jerusalem festival takes place from June 5 - 13 every evening from 20:00 - 24:00. Its free and open to everyone.
Light and sound artists from all over the world will be participating. Maps and information booths are situated at the Jaffa Gate.
There are three coloured routes to follow; White (Jaffa Gate to Jewish Quarter via the Armenian Quarter), Green (Jaffa Gate to Damascus Gate via the Christian Quarter) and Blue (in the heart of the Old City).
We went last year and really enjoyed it. Don't miss out!!!!
